This story is about the fight between two tribes. The Cats are a highly hierarchical tribe of women led by their leader and preistess, Mother Lion, glorified as their mother and source of pure creation. The honourable task of Fighting Cats is to be sent on “missions”, which are said to be done for the surcical of the Cats. They are sent out in organized troops to kidnap so-called ‘dogs’ from the rivalry tribe: the Dog Tribe.

In the days following one of these “missions”, the dangerous love story between Kayli, the young Fighting Cat from the Golden Claws Clan, and Takoda, a mysterious Dog Warrior, starts to take its course. A complicated fight against authority and tradition ensues, in which the multi-faceted layers of identity, the depths of revenge, and the power of our unconscious mind are the keys to understanding the characters’ destiny. Reality and perception prove to be nothing and yet everything, and the tricks of our own mind turn out to be more deceiving than our dreaded physical enemies …
